Wine maker notes: This Weißburgunder also called Pinot Blanc, thrives in a very beautiful location on Eichkogel between Gumpoldskirchen and Mödling. He places high demands on soil and location. Due to the perfect soil conditions, the spa region has not been given the nickname the secret Burgundy of Austria for nothing. The Pinot Blanc grows in Austria to a substance-rich white wine with a fine, almond-like taste and spicy acidity . From the longer ripened grapes with higher sugar values then our Pinot Blanc Reserve is pressed.
Grape Variety/Blend: Weißburgunder
Tasting Notes: Nutty oak with hint of light tobacco and pomaceous fruits on the nose. Full bodied on the palate, firm and tart. Lively acidity, good grip with mineral traces. Long finish.
