Wine maker notes: THE VINES have been approx. 31 years old and are cultivated in a dense of around 4.500 vines/ha. To profit from the rising ground-heat and to reach a high foliage-wall we use a trellis training system at about 60-90 cm and apply the guyot cutting system. HARVEST took place by the mid of October at 18°KMW, picked by hand with a small, well-trained team, which selected the grapes directly in the vineyard. Fermentation took place with automatic temperature-control at 20°C. The wine was stored in stainless steel-tanks and after 5 months the wine was bottled in Burgundy-bottles.
Grape Variety/Blend: Grüner Veltliner
Tasting notes: Bright yellow, a full pinch of black pepper guarded by some mandarine, a crisp and juicy body with enough spice makes you fancy more, animating finish.
Food Pairing: A wonderful companion to food, perfect to roast pork, but also to fine fish and salads!
