Wine maker notes: Vineyard located in Sagrada Familia, Latitud 35° 1´5.38” South, Longitud 71° 26´2.60” West. Soil of coluvial origin formed at the foot of the Andes Mountain Range. Old and well-balanced 1940 vineyard run on traditional trellis with furrow irrigation. The harvest took place during mid-April. Manual harvesting in small boxes of 18kg. Winemaking oriented to very aromatic and elegant wines, a cold maceration and soft extraction. Finally aged in French oak barrels for 24 months.
Grape Variety/Blend: Malbec
Tasting notes: Intense red color with purple tints. Deep and complex aromas, dominated by floral notes which then transforms into ripe fruits like plums. At the same time, we can detect some sweet spices and green tea flavors. It is a juicy and balanced wine with sweet tannins; very elegant and delicate. It makes it a great wine to have with high gastronomy and which also has a high potential for ageing.
